The school took six of our RE Ambassadors to Redbridge Barnardo's Leaving Care. They helped them sort out their food, cupboards, clothes and kitchen items.
We always aim to mark this event on, or as near as is possible, Remembrance Sunday and/or Armistice Day itself and so, this year, on Monday 13th November 2017 at 11.30 staff & students joined together as the Last Post was sounded by trumpeters.

The REAL Zone has become a very buzzing place in recent months, full of very committed and eager year 11 students who want to improve their grades. The REAL Zone Science booster sessions are open for all students who require and want extra support in preparation for their Science GCSEs.

The Build a Bike course is now up and running. Students are working hard on repairing recycled bikes, which they will get to keep on completion.
On Tuesday 21st February twelve students visited the Lee Valley Velodrome Park, which hosted all the track cycling in the London 2012 Olympics. This trip was awarded to our school as a result of our commitment to the Cycle to School Challenge.
14 schools competed in the area final of the Youth Speaks competition - Winners included a team from Years 7,8 and 9 from Beal High School!
