Beal’s Award-Winning Chemist!

Current Beal Sixth Form year 13 student Adeel Ali has just been awarded a Gold Award in the Royal Society of Chemistry’s internationally recognised and prestigious competition the Chemistry Olympiad. Out of 7160 entries, he was one of 9% of applicants to be awarded this accolade.
The Olympiad is designed to stretch and challenge students, building their problem solving skills with questions designed to allow students to think more creatively about Chemistry in real life situations, using the knowledge they have gained across the two years.

The Chemistry department are extremely proud of Adeel’s achievements. Teacher Ms Begum added, “Adeel has worked extremely hard and is truly deserving of this award. He is naturally talented in all areas of Chemistry. He has shown nothing but dedication to studying A Level Chemistry and is a role model to the younger budding Chemists at Beal High School”
