Beal High School has high quality careers advice and guidance, to support our high achieving and ambitious students. Careers Education enables students to develop the knowledge, confidence and skills they need to make well informed choices that enable them to progress smoothly into further learning and work. It prepares young people for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life, thereby ensuring that, wherever possible, all young people leave education with employment, or go into further education or training.
The school is committed to providing:
- A planned programme of activities to which all students from years 7 to 13 are entitled, which will help them to plan and manage their careers and demonstrate growth in the 21st Century skills that are most critical to their goals.
- Information, advice and guidance which is impartial, unbiased and based on their needs to help pupils make choices.
- Careers Surveys at the end of each key stage to measure and assess the impact of the careers programme on pupils.
