The Spanish MFL Department took 30 Year 10 students to Madrid on a residential trip from Friday 6th July to Monday 9th July. The students were able to visit the capital of Spain and some of its main landmark sites; the Real Madrid Stadium, the Royal Palace, Gran Vía, Retiro Park, Plaza Mayor and the Parque Warner Theme Park. They all really enjoyed this trip and used the opportunity to practise their Spanish taking a step forward in their learning process. They could also learn a bit more about the Spanish culture and they all tried some churros con chocolate!
Many thanks to Mr Davies and Ms Atwal for offering their time to come to Madrid, to Ms Stylianou, Ms Begum and Ms Hammond for their support and lastly, a MASSIVE THANKS to Ms Forth for all her hard work behind the scenes in running this trip.
