On Thursday the 21st of June 2018 we had our 2nd annual Careers Fair. This was a resourceful and exciting opportunity for our mainstream year 10 and year 12 students, and those in BCS. We had 34 different stands which students could collect information from and speak with. These included colleges, universities such as Kings and City, Apprenticeship providers, uniformed services such as the Army and the Met Police, career specific companies such as in Construction, Mechanics and Finance and finally former students who have gone on to become Doctors, Engineers, Pilots and owning their own businesses. It was a busy and positively buzzing afternoon, which students, staff and exhibitors found extremely useful. Our students made such a good impression on the exhibitors that the representative from the ACCA said “your sixth formers are the nicest I’ve ever met”. Another said “it was an enjoyable afternoon, with a lot of student engagement”.  We hope to continuously improve this event and make it even bigger next year!
