Last year a total of 978,216 young people from every corner of the country took part in the annual Make Your Mark ballot.  The ballot decides what Members of the UK Youth Parliament should debate and vote on to be their campaign for 2018.

Beal High School students have been voting to decide what important issues they would like the UK Youth Parliament to debate and then campaign on for the year ahead. Our students have spoken, with over 1, 175 students voting.

The top 3 issues which matter most to Beal students are:

  • Work Experience hubs for 11-18 year olds
  • Transport – make transport cheaper, better & accessible for all
  • Protect schools budgets from damaging cuts so each young person has an equal chance to succeed.
