On Friday 11 November, 81 filled and decorated shoeboxes were delivered to Victoria House in Buckhurst Hill, the home of Samaritan’s Purse. Beal High School students from Years 7 and 8 spent time and effort to fill their shoeboxes for children aged between 2 and 14 in countries within Europe, Africa, and Asia, who are less fortunate.

Their generosity was overwhelming especially in the last few days where students joined together to get as many shoeboxes completed before the deadline. One Year 7 form completed 17 boxes alone! Many students had run out of time but wanted to donate some money to cover the shipping cost. ‘We are really grateful for everything you have done. The boxes are really well decorated. Thank you so much.” Ruth from Samaritan’s Purse A huge THANK YOU and WELL DONE to everyone involved. Our shoeboxes will make a difference to many children this Christmas.
