Thank you to Callum O’Brien, ex Beal High School student and now co-founder and Director of his own executive recruitment company, CLM, for funding a donation of 20 high spec laptops for our students. These are very much appreciated by the students who have received them and will support them in their learning throughout their time at school and beyond. Callum said:
“Without Beal High Schools support and that of the Learning & Development department (now BCS and Student Services) helping me manage my ADHD as an adolescent I wouldn’t be in the position of running my own organisation today. For that I am forever grateful… We at CLM executive search have been in business for 12 months (founded on January 30th 2020) and achieved our revenue target of £1,000,000 on January 28th 2021. We want to give back and help students learn the skills they need to become successful in the future.
Via an initiative set up by a friend of mine called Project 500 (providing laptops to youngsters for home learning) my two business partners and I decided to donate £10,000 of our revenue this year to the cause – and £3,333 of that I would personally like to go to Beal High school and more importantly to the children that need the laptops to learn from home and take full advantage of the knowledge and expertise education can offer.”
