Last Thursday and Friday the geography department took 164 Year 10 students to Birmingham where they conducted human fieldwork investigating how land-use affects the environmental quality! See below for pictures.

Students were impeccably behaved and will now apply this fieldwork to their GCSE exam next year.

Thanks to staff for giving up their time and supporting the department on the trip, and also to the Year 10 team for support in organising the trip.

Next week the students continue their fieldwork in Epping Forest, investigating how river characteristics change as the river moves downstream.
