Faraday Challenge Day 2023

On 7th Feb 2023, our Year 8 students participated in The Faraday Challenge Day organised by The Institute of Engineering and Technology at WCHS. Please do congratulate the following students if you see them in school:

  1. Jakub Abdelmeguid (8BX)
  2. James Baker (8KX)
  3. Mahnoor Faisal (8NR)
  4. Korina Poddoku (8KX)
  5. Elise Wong (8BX)

These students completed the IET Faraday Challenge Day successfully using key STEM skills and knowledge gained at Beal High School. Students received the Industrial Cadets Challenger Award for completing a hands-on problem solving and critical thinking activity. Students presented their designs at the end which was amazing.

It was very competitive with Woodford County, Ilford County, Seven Kings, Caterham and Bancroft participating in this event. Seven Kings won the challenge, and we will try again next Year ???? but well done to our students who gave everyone a tough competition.
