YEAR 8 TEAM
Beal High School are pleased to announce the award of the Carnegie Centre of Excellence for Mental Health in Schools …….
We are proud to announce Beal Sixth Form (BSF) validated progress results for the academic year 2017/2018 ……...
Welcome to ‘Beal’s Voice’, a collection of compositions varying from handwritten poems, chosen inspiring poems, created illustrations and first-hand photographs all created by our 2018 Year 8 cohort. With a special feature of compositions from year 8 staff members at Beal high school.
Our idea was to show thanks to our Beal high school staff members in the form of an Inspiring book to positively conclude our year.
So the next time you find some spare time, please take a flick through our book, and find some expressive motivation to enlighten your day.
Please note, not all quotes are handwritten by our year 8 tutees and are in fact quotes chosen by our pupils as these quotes have significant meaning or have inspired them so far on their journey. Other contributions vary from handwritten poems or re-worded quotes, all the way to illustrations and photographs.
Our year 8’s participated in this project as a team and we hope you feel inspired and relaxed as you take a look at Beal’s Voice.
Warm Regards Year 8
The Geography Department spent this week running an enriching trip with the Year 8s to Walton-on-the-Naze. Students spent time investigating the success of coastal management at this area. Some students had never seen the coast before and they were also able to apply their learning in the classroom to the coastal environment. It was a really valuable experience to all students who went.
A massive thanks to all members of staff who assisted both on the trip and those that helped cover the department whilst we were out.
