Well Done!

On Tuesday 14th January, some of our year 8 students took part in the sports hall athletics event, which was held at Mayfield school. 14 Redbridge schools took part so the competition was quite fierce!

The students were fantastic and behaved brilliantly throughout the afternoon. Their teamwork was excellent and 100% effort was given from all our competitors.

The year 8 girls, with the help of Jessica McEwen and Joe Stanton did very well to place 3rd.

Well done to all our students.

Walton-on-the-Naze

The Geography Department spent this week running an enriching trip with the Year 8s to Walton-on-the-Naze. Students spent time investigating the success of coastal management at this area. Some students had never seen the coast before and they were also able to apply their learning in the classroom to the coastal environment. It was a really valuable experience to all students who went.

A massive thanks to all members of staff who assisted both on the trip and those that helped cover the department whilst we were out.
